Delhi has been the power throne for several
rulers and empires for centuries. This historical city has seen several destruction, renovations and massacres. Interestingly, every ruler of Delhi
first destroyed and then rebuilt this city. So far Delhi has been the political
hub of India. It’s the destiny decider of the biggest democratic country of the
world.
Delhi upholds two totally diversified worlds –the
old Delhi that is once the capital of the Mughal era comprised of a maze of
densely populated streets with centuries old buildings whereas, the new Delhi
is a colonial setting created by British rule. New Delhi is spacious, comprised
of green belt boulevards and Victorian style government buildings.
